What is pitchd.?
pitchd. is a public board of structured startup pitches. Founders post a one-sentence pitch, a link to their deck, and a demo or access link. The community reacts and comments. It's a way to get honest, public feedback on a startup before (or while) raising.
Who can post a pitch?
Anyone with an account. There is a simple sign-up, and each new pitch passes staff moderation before it goes live. Posting is free.
Is there really only one sentence?
Yes — the pitch itself is a single sentence, by design. The rest of your entry is structured fields: category, a fundraising goal, a deck link, a demo or video link, and how you'd use the money. If you can't say what the startup does in one sentence, that's the first thing to fix.
How do reactions and comments work?
Visitors can react to a live pitch and leave comments once signed in. Each reaction is counted once per user. Commenting lets founders hear sincere feedback — and hear what the crowd actually thinks, not what they tell you in a pitch meeting.
Is pitchd free?
Yes. Posting pitches, reacting, and commenting are free, with no paywall or hidden tiers. There's no fundraising cut — pitchd is a community, not a broker.
What happens after I post?
Your pitch goes to a short staff review queue. Once approved it appears on the public board under its category. You can edit the pitch from your dashboard at any time.
Do I need a company or pitch deck to join?
No. Many founders pitch early — even pre-product. The minimum is a clear one-sentence pitch about a real problem you're solving. A deck and a demo make a pitch stronger, but they're not required.
How does moderation work?
Staff (owner, admins, and moderators) review each new pitch before it goes live, approve or request changes, and keep the board free of spam. Accounts that break the rules can be suspended with a stated reason.
Can I share my pitch outside pitchd.?
Yes. Every pitch has a public link and a share button, and each pitch page has its own preview card for social sharing. The public page is on the internet for anyone — that's the point.
How is my data handled?
pitchd uses your email only for your account and a confirmation link at signup. Public profile pages show your display name and join date. Emails are not shown publicly. See the terms page for details.
